This Spanish wine is a blend of 60% Garnacha blanco and 40% Macabea blanco from 30 year old Garnacha vines at 200m above sea level where the soil consists of granite and limestone. A fruity and flowered nose, very fresh and crispy on the palate.
J. Bookwalter Subplot No. 24 Red Blend - $17.00
Aromatics of currants, dark berriesm black plums. Mocha and marzipan linger as the wine enters the palate full of ripe fruit flavors, Black Forest cherries, boysenberries and dates layered with cola, resin, graphite and a dash of Thai spice. A lush and full mid palate prelude a velour like finish, balanced with a touch of acidity from Washington State's Columbia Valley.

Light yellow in color with greenish hues and brilliant clarity. An aromatic bouquet of gooseberry balanced by ripe tropical fruit aromas of pineapple and passionfruit. Displays the quintessential Marlborough qualities of rich, ripe tropical fruit and citrus flavors. 2008 Giocata Pinot Grigio - $12.00
A cat like Pinot Grigio from Slovenia that is full of interest, try pairing it with a light Italian dish. A relatively young wine with a green straw hue, and an ever so slight effervescence. The nose is full of pear and apple, but also holds a tropical sweetness. The palate gave hints of pear and stone fruit flavors balanced by the crisp acidity of lemon and some mineral undertones.
2008 Milbrandt Cabernet Sauvignon - $17.00
Traditions Cabernet Sauvignon offers more than just varietal correctness, it possesses the dark color, rich flavor and firm character that is unique to Eastern Washington. Aromatically expressive, it brings notes of crème de cassis, espresso, and dark-chocolate-dipped bananas. The palate is round and rich, and the structure here is acid-driven; the silky tannins are barely noticeable. This is one of those eminently-approachable Cabernets that is a simple joy to drink.

A very refreshing Riesling that is not too sweet, featured in a commemorative bottle with an image of the Gateway Arch. On the nose it has the fragrance of a ripe green apple along with a hint of peach and a slight bit of honey. The taste of sweet pear and a hint of pineapple consumes your tongue while the slightly acidic finish caresses your throat. This is definitely a delightful wine to have on a warm summer day.

True to the varietal, this Pinot Gris is deliciously bright, fresh and crisp. On the nose kiwis and lemon zest greet you. Fuji apples, gooseberries and key limes open up on the palate. There’s an interesting mineralty and acidity balanced by soft floral aromas. The silky finish and fresh, full-bodied mouthfeel are indicative of a great Pinot Gris.

Very suave, especially at this price; finishes with silky tannins and excellent clarity. No jamminess here, which is pretty rare for inexpensive Garnacha.

The Morse Code Shiraz is a fruit driven wine made with minimal oak contact to allow the fruit flavors and regional characters to be at the forefront.
The wine has a lifted perfumed nose, showing an array of floral characters including lavender and rose, ripe cherry fruit and hints of spearmint.
The palate is medium bodied and fruit driven with a nice depth of berry fruit, hints of liquorice and lavender, with a fleshy mid palate and finishing with a soft and supple tannin structure.

Smoky, roasted and full on the bouquet, with rich berry and plum aromas. The palate is fleshy, with a chunky Middle but just enough tannin and acid to provide structure. Tastes of baked black fruits, fig and herbs. Dry and snappy on the finish.
