After teaching for twenty years, I wanted to explore a career that was completely different from what I had done in the past.  As I began to soul search, it occurred to me how much I love art, jewelry, pottery, and a variety of items that make perfect gifts.  I would not call myself a shopper, in fact I am not a fan of the mall, outlets, or the variety of super stores.  However, I love going into small business gift shops, meeting the owners, and sharing the treasures they have decided to offer.
